Christian
Hi, are all languages supported ? for example, if a sms is written in thai, will it be readable as such ? thanks On the web site, yes.You would see all languages and characters the same as they display on the phone itself. Most web sites are capable of showing multiple languages through a "unicode" display. But if you download the reports to a computer, you would need to have the additional language or special character fonts installed on your PC in order to display them locally. Link to comment
fog
Hi, are all languages supported ? for example, if a sms is written in thai, will it be readable as such ? thanks If you view the captured data on the logging server web site then Thai characters are displayed correctly. If you download the captured data from the logging server in RTF format then Thai characters are displayed correctly. If you download the captured data from the logging server in CSV format and try to load the file into Excel then Thai characters are not displayed correctly. The way around this is to (1) Download the file and save it as a text (.txt) file type rather than a .csv file. (2) Open the file with Wordpad (not Notepad). (3) Change just 1 character (replace a comma with a comma). This is necessary so that Wordpad thinks that the file has changed. (4) Save the file, on the save Wordpad will set the correct character encoding. (5) Open the file with Excel, Thai characters will now display correctly. Link to comment
