I am going to target a blackberry phone and monitor from a iphone. The target phone is locked most of the time it will only be available late at night when being used as an alarm clock. How difficult is the software to load?

The installation time depends on how familiar you are with the TARGET phone. If you follow all steps in the manual then installation time will take about 15 - 20 minutes.
