If I load the spyware and later they Reset the phone at the Customer Service Center, is the spyware on the phone wiped-out? Do I need to reload the software?

Also do I need to have a cable to load the spyware (i.e. connect the target phone with my computer or my receiving phone)?

You will need to reload the software on to the phone. You need to have physical access to the TARGET phone to install it.

Any time a phone is reformatted, all 3rd party software is deleted. Reformatting wipes the phone and resets it back to factory (store bought) condition. Installing isn't done by cable or PC connection, but simply downloading directly over the air via the phone's Internet connection.
