shah Posted November 5, 2021 Report Share Posted November 5, 2021 The user enables playprotect from playstore and I am sure the user is not going to the application and enabling it but the user is redirected to playprotect and I am not sure how, the notification are turned off which is mentioned in installation but either through the bell icon or through other ways the Google Play protect is redirecting to play protect may be through bell icon, does anyone know how to stop it , it might be the bell icon inside the app on top right corner how to disable that any suggestions could help. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Disabling Notifications does not disable Play Store or prevent normal app updates. For Android OS 9 and above: Go to Settings > Notifications (click “see all”) > Google Play Store, and tap the slider to disable it. Tap on Google Play Store to open the menu and confirm Notification are disabled. For Android OS 8 and below: Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Notifications (scroll down to Google Play Store), and tap the slider so it reads “Off”.
