UPDATE: FlexiSPY LITE for Android, ver. 1.03.4

Recommended Posts

FlexiSPY has released an important update to FlexiSPY Light for Android, ver. 1.03.4, available now for customer download.

FlexiSPY Android Light 1.03.4 introduces the following changes:

IMPORTANT Security Related Update

  • Changes have been made to the program icon, name and binary filename. When installed properly, FlexiSPY is already hidden from the main applications list. This update improves the security of stealth operation by staying one step ahead and also helps avoid detection from certain antivirus related softwares. However, to run in complete stealth mode and remain fully hidden at all levels of the O.S. requires rooting and upgrading to the Omni version of FlexiSPY for Android. (Note: This change is a protective measure. If you are not having any current problems then you do not need this update.)

IMPORTANT O.S. Compatibility Update

  • This version of FlexiSPY LITE for Android is now compatible with all Android O.S. versions 2.1-update 1 through 4.0.x.

UPDATE Samsung Galaxy S II

  • This update addresses an issue where Call Logs might not have been captured for the Galaxy S II. This problem is resolved up through the current Galaxy S II OS version 4.0.3.

UPDATE - Installation Procedure

  • The installation process now installs in two parts. Your current version will still need to be fully uninstalled prior to installing this updated version. However the updated version will still request to "replace" the current version. This is not a mistake; please follow the installation instructions in the updated manual.

To install this version or to update from the previous version, please see below.

THIS UPDATE IS ONLY FOR FLEXISPY ANDROID LITE CUSTOMERS AND DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER FLEXISPY PRODUCT OR MOBILE OPERATING PLATFORM.

How to install this version:

All installations including reinstallations and software updates must be performed directly from the Target phone itself, and cannot be done remotely.

If you already have an Android LITE Target phone, you must first uninstall the program by following the steps in your software manual to UNINSTALL. Then point the phone’s browser back to the download site and use the same Activation Code to download and install again, following the same steps as the first time to set your program options again. (This will update your existing product to its current release version. To upgrade to the next product level see "upgrades" below.)

NOTE: If you do not see "uninstall" as a menu option, you may need to Deactivate first. Be sure to download your logs from the web account first as Deactivation will clear any logs in the account.

How to upgrade:

Existing customers who would like to upgrade (from LITE or Pro to Omni) may do so through their web account login. From the PROFILE page, click the UPGRADE link and follow through the checkout process to purchase an upgrade for only the difference in cost. If you are more than six months into your current subscription period, it may be cost effective to purchase a subscription renewal at the lower cost of your existing product first, and then upgrade after. When you have completed the purchase you will receive an email with further upgrade instructions. You will need access to the Target phone to uninstall the current product before installing the new version. Remote install is not possible. Please ensure you have a supported Target phone prior to purchasing an upgrade to Omni.
