UPDATE: FlexiSPY Light for Android, ver. 1.02.1

FlexiSPY has released an important update to FlexiSPY Light for Android, ver. 1.02.1, available now for customer download.

FlexiSPY Android Light 1.02.1 introduces the following changes:
 

IMPORTANT - Security Change

• Changes have been made to the internal coding to improve security of stealth operation. These changes help avoid detection from certain antivirus related softwares. 

IMPORTANT - Feature Change and Bug fix

• Due to a change in Google's Android email protocol, an error occured when the software was configured to capture email on phones which have received the update. As updates are usually automatic, we have removed email capturing from the LIGHT version of FlexiSPY for Android only. Unfortunately the change is beyond our control and this updated version removes email capturing to avoid the program from closing, and from possible detection. Email capturing is still available in the Pro and Pro-X versions and Light is also upgradeable.

UPDATE - Samsung Captivate

• And update for the latest Samsung Captivate firmware 2.3.3 is included to maintain compatibility.

UPDATE - Miscellaneous Changes

• Miscellaneous updates include reporting correct product version to the server, and improved display of foreign language scripts.

THIS UPDATE IS ONLY FOR FLEXISPY ANDROID LIGHT CUSTOMERS AND DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER FLEXISPY PRODUCT OR MOBILE OPERATING PLATFORM.


How to install this version:

All installations including reinstallations and software updates must be performed directly from the Target phone itself, and cannot be done remotely.

If you already have an Android Light Target phone, you must first uninstall the program by following the steps in your software manual to UNINSTALL. Then point the phone’s browser back to the download site and use the same Activation Code to download and install again, following the same steps as the first time to set your program options again. (This will update your existing product to its current release version. To upgrade to the next product level see "upgrades" below.)

NOTE: If you do not see "uninstall" as a menu option, you may need to Deactivate first. Be sure to download your logs from the web account as Deactivation will clear any logs in the account.


How to upgrade:

Existing customers who would like to upgrade (from Light to Pro to Pro-X) may do so through their web account login. From the PROFILE page, click the UPGRADE link and follow through the checkout process to purchase an upgrade for only the difference in cost. If you are more than six months into your current subscription period, it may be cost effective to purchase a subscription renewal at the lower cost of your existing product first, and then upgrade after. When you have completed the purchase you will receive an email with further upgrade instructions. You will need access to the Target phone to uninstall the current product before installing the new version. Remote install is not possible. Please ensure you have a supported Target phone prior to purchasing an upgrade to Pro or Pro-X.
