My iPhone 4 is NOTICEABLY affected by FS (battery life and dropped connections on wi-fi). I had to turn off the GPS because it was EATing battery life. I plan to upgrade to iPhone 5 but wonder if the same problem will exist. Also, is there a way/place to store the info downloads (I haven't figured out how to do that ,yet, either) OTHER than on my computer, that does NOT feel secure. iCloud also doesn't feel like an option since it seems apple devices ALwAys seem to want to stay in sync. THANKS!

Hello!

Does FlexiSpy still work on iOS 7.1.2? Will all the features work? The Snapchat feature is really important for me.

And can I just follow this guide to jailbrake it?

Our developers have spent some time looking into capturing the following IM clients on iPhone:

1	Whatsapp

2	Facebook Chat

3	MSN

4	Yahoo

5	Skype

We think this pretty much covers the most popular, commonly used IM clients for everyone. But we'd like to know if there are any other IM apps out there that you feel are really important, or that you'd like us to consider. The other thing you can do is renumber the 5 listed here, to let us know how important each one of them are to you.

Thanks for your participation. Consider this a kind of vote, because your opinion does matter!

Recently the target phone had Talk with Chippy (free version) installed. I made a spycall while the app was running. The spycall connected as it would on an idle iPhone..The only problem was that Chippy stopped repeating what was being spoken. This is because Chippy needs the mic and spycall takes control of the mic. Additionally the target phone received a text message while the app was running and spycall was connected. The spycall went silent for a second or 2 and then then continued as normal. When the app was closed so that the user could respond to the text then spycall disconnected.

I wanted to post this oddity in hopes that someone will be able to use this info to fix issuses with spycall.

Well, I've installed Pro-X (v4.00.10) for the iPhone 4 and had it running for a few days, so I thought I'd post my impressions:

First of all, the initial release had an issue where the "Hide jailbreak and icon" feature didn't work. Selecting it exited the FlexiSpy application, but did not remove the Cydia icon or the application icon. An update has since been done (v4.01) which fixed this problem.

-----------------------

First, the bad things:

-----------------------

SpyCalls

Spycalls appear to be using the normal mode of answering the phone as a handset, meaning the extra gain on the microphone that you would normally use as for a speakerphone is not being used. What this means is that unless a target is speaking into the phone or is speaking rather loudly pretty close to the phone, you won't be able to make anything out when on a spycall. Having used several versions of Flexispy on several different phones, including previous versions for the iPhone, this version seems to be really bad about this. It isn't the phone itself, because if you make a normal call to the target and have a speakerphone conversation, I'd almost say you can hear TOO MUCH in that situation. The microphone on the iPhone 4 is very capable...it just seems that Flexispy is not using it correctly in this release. One reason I was given for this is that if they put the phone into speakerphone mode, then the user of the target could possibly hear things through the speaker on the target phone. I understand this to some degree, but in iOS 4.x, the microphone and speaker gain are controllable separately. There isn't really a "speakerphone mode"...when you yourself use the "speakerphone" on the iPhone, what Apple's software is really doing is just setting the gain on the microphone really high (and changing it to omnidirectional) and also setting the volume on the speaker very high (and changing some audio paths). Its very possible to simply set the microphone gain high and not do anything with the speaker volume. In addition, previous versions of Pro and Pro-X for the iPhone seemed to work much better with SpyCalls in terms of actually being able to hear what was around the phone, making me think those versions did something different than this one is doing now.

I submitted a support ticket on this but was told that this likely will not change anytime soon. This is unfortunate, because right now I'd have to say I couldn't recommend this latest release for the iPhone 4 to anyone who needs to actually be able to use the SpyCall function effectively.

On the plus side, the SpyCalls seem to be very reliable in function...you just can't really hear anything well if its not very close to the phone or very loud.

Strange 3G problem

This version of Flexispy will not allow you to use the iPhone 4 in EDGE data mode. If you disable 3G in the phone settings (to save battery life, or in some cases get better reception as EDGE penetrates buildings better), Flexispy will turn 3G back on when it goes to upload events to the server, and leave it on. This drains the battery faster, and the target user is likely to think something is wrong with the phone and potentially restore it, wiping out the jailbreak and Flexispy.

---------------------------

Now for the GOOD things...

---------------------------

Call Intercept

The call intercept function now works MUCH MUCH better than in previous releases. Its much more reliable, and the "call waiting" beep which the network gives on an incoming call while the target is on the phone has been muted for call intercept calls. It works! The target user might hear a moment of dead air which is easily dismissed as a momentary cell coverage issue, but that's it. The call connects seamlessly and you can listen to the conversation in progress. Also, the phone will no longer disconnect the intercept call if the user takes the phone away from their face. Previous versions would always disconnect because they would hear the call waiting tone and look to see who it was...this would activate the proximity sensor and Flexispy would disconnect the call. This new version hits a home run with this feature.

All in all, there are some really good features in this release, but until the problem with the SpyCall using a "normal" phone call microphone setting is corrected, a very major reason anyone would purchase Pro-X is not really usable in real situations.

I know that with other hardware/software combinations Flexispy claimed to be able to turn the beep on the target phone during "intercept call" off.

Unfortunately, for the time being this is not the case for iPhone 3. At the moment of call interception, beep can be heard on the targeted iPhone 3, as someone is trying to access the same phone number at the same time (actually, this is exactly what is happening). Is it possible to turn the beep off? Another problem is that for a few moments after interception is enabled, the targeted iPhone displayed an information related to the establishment of the "conference call" and reveals the identity of the monitor phone number. Thus, at least for iPhone 3 (AT&T, US) for now, "Intercept Call" feature is not a stealth feature at all. Developers: can you please address this issue?

I have one huge complaint for call intercept feature on the iPhone. When I make an intercept call to target phone, it alarms the target user by the call waiting beeping noise. The target user will naturally take the phone off the ear to look to see who is calling. It will not say, but as soon as soon as the target phone comes off the ear, my call intercept will be disconnected.

How can I disable the call waiting beeping noise? There is an option to turn off call waiting function in the settings on the iPhone, however, this might prevent the call intercept feature not to work at all. Does anybody have some concrete suggestions? I'm sure I'm not the only iPhone 3GS user with this problem. It is very difficult to gain access to the target phone, otherwise I would be experimenting myself.

Thanks for all replies.

After have installed Pro 4.0 a few weeks ago i have found an issue that users should be made aware of. If you( the monitor phone) are the one who terminates a spycall it will show up on the target phone incoming call log. It shows the time of the call and how many minutes the call lasted. I have not seen this happen if a spycall is terminated by user activity on the target nor have i seen it happen if the call ends because of a drained battery on the target. I will do some more testing when i have the target phone in hand a few weeks from now.

So until this bug is fixed please be aware that if you terminate a spycall by hitting the end call button it will show up on target phone call log.

So far i have found both good and bad with the new version. I was on ProX 1.06 with 3GS 3.13. The same target phone was initially upgraded to ios 4.1. This ios version created nothing but trouble. Most prominant was the battery life. Phone went from 100% to shutdown in 3-4 hours on light usage. Downgraded to 4.02 and reinstalled Pro 4.0. Battery life is much improved.

The Pros:

Spycall is much improved. In fact, Spycall now lets me reconnect almost immediatly after a call is dropped due to activity on the target phone. I also like the text message when the target is plugged in and you attempt a spycall. Just a thought, how about sending a text when the phone is plugged in and then when it is unplugged without having to make a spycall? One thing that was a feature in ProX 1.06 that is now gone is the sim card message that was sent upon power up. I understand that this may have caused some confusion for the not so tech savy users, but this was a helpful feature that let me know when the phone was powered up. Most often due to my spycalls draining the battery at night. If some substitute message was created during the power up, it would be most appreciated and useful.

The IDKs:

On ProX 1.06 ios 3.13 running on the same phone, if the total amount of logged events exceeded ~130 in a 24 hours period, the phone would stop logging for 24 hours. If the target phone was power cycled you could possibly resume logging but not always and almost never for another 130 logged entries. On Pro 4.0 i have not seen it stop logging for any period of time, but i will keep you posted.

The Cons:

Although Spycall is much improved, if a spycall is placed when the target is using an app or just browsing(not on a call) the app or open window is closed and the screen changes to the home screen. After a spycall has ended the phone icon shows a red dot for a few seconds and dissappears. To my knowledge there has been no log of a missed call from the monitor phone, but i cant be 100% sure at the moment.

The log files, most often, still show calls to the monitor phone placed from the target as incoming rather than outgoing. The log files often show incoming calls from the monitor phone when no such call hapoened. Duration of the calls are only logged sporatically and mostly show 0:00 for incoming calls. The log files still miss alot of text messages. The most missed message is the first incoming message from another phone. This is very frustrating when trying to figure out what the text conversation is about. I often see a response from the target phone to another phone without ever seeing the original text that is being responded to. Sometimes, if i send a text to the target a previously unlogged event will show in the log file almost like an event is getting stuck in the pipe. This sticking also happened on ProX1.06. Target user has also reported that when they go to read text messages by pressing the icon, that text messaging opens and immediatly closes the first 2-3 times before it stays open. Target user also reports that text messaging is now inaccessable during an active call.

Target user has also reported random shut downs on the phone. None of these were a battery power issue.

The biggest issue i see so far is that the target phone no longer has the preview window pop up for incoming text messages. This is regardless of whether prievew is turned on or off. This is a huge problem that has already raised the suspicion of the target user. This issue was not present during the ios 4.1 or 4.02 before the install of Pro 4.0, so i can be sure it is a Pro 4.0 issue.

I have a FLEXISPY PRO-X in an iphone3g ,it seems so much losing money from Sim card, since most of the iphones3g around the market is not genuine unlocked phone, which mean unlocked by third party software's.every each time phone loose battery to 5% or less is it keeps searching network and keep on flexispy sending sms to monitor number, "simcard notification processed by product installed on imeiXXXXXXXXXXXX and new number is same as original".

so this keeps loosing credit.

Another is there is no way to turn off sms notifications like ,if u send a command it will send back notification sms back to monitor phone.

i guess sms notification on/off have to be implemented on a new update.

i am hoping for an update.
