  1. Well, at this time you can't install because there's currently no jailbreak available for 8.3. FlexiSPY can be installed into any jailbroken iPhone. Without jailbreaking, you can only install apps directly from the App Store. We are waiting on a jailbreak for 8.3 as much as anyone else is
  2. If any button is pressed on the phone, the SpyCall will disconnect. This is to remain discreet and hide the SpyCall. Because if the user tries to use the phone while your call is connected, they will certainly know something funny is going on if they can't use the phone. We also try to be careful not to interfere with the user's ability to actually use the phone as normal, or to do anything that would arise any form of suspicion. It is possible that some models and OS versions may light up only for a split second initially, but then go dark immediately. This is not so strange, as phones are in a constant state of activity between incoming texts, Internet activities, active running programs and etc. Many things can cause a phone to light up normally just briefly, and often this happens with random service pings from the network cell towers themselves. Additionally, because its only just briefly it wouldn't usually be noticed unless looking directly at the phone at the time. Even in that case, there is no Caller ID or any other indication of activity that is actually displayed. If the user picks up the phone at this time, they see nothing. There are a variety of conditions that can be happening at any given time and a multitude of models and OS versions that must be supported. Therefore it is exceedingly difficult to suppress everything that might happen on a phone, but we go to extreme lengths and long term testing to be as discreet as possible for all supported models, and to make sure that in any case, there is no information displayed to provide any indication of your actual SpyCall.
  3. You can see tutorial overviews from the flexispy web site Movie Central, here http://www.flexispy.com/en/moviecentral.htm
  4. Hi Whizo, Let me apologize for some misunderstandings. First of all I think if you can't get Live Chat to work then it must be a local browser issue, because we only use a simple web browser window that opens up for chat. As for the current requirements, the web site does stress that we develop for OS versions, not specific models. Also, during the checkout for Android, the selection does say "Any Android Phone", so hopefully that is not confusing. To make a correction however, both GSM and CDMA are supported. The Intercept Call feature itself will only work on GSM networks, however all other features can and do work on all networks. Rooting is a requirement for Omni. I apologize for the confusion, because we can answer questions and help guide you in the rooting process if you're unfamiliar or need a bit of help in this area. We can and we do provide support, however you will ultimately need to root the phone yourself, and we cannot in any way be responsible for this process. If Live Chat still isn't working for you, you can always submit a ticket from our Support Center at http://support.flexispy.com, and you can also post questions and join discussions here at the Community forums, with other customers in the Peer-To-Peer Support forums after you are a customer. It's hard to keep up with every model and every rooting utility, but we do have a page with some examples of rooting tools used with various Android phones. At present it needs to be updated a little, but you can see that at http://support.flexi...d-downloads.htm Regarding your HTC Desire HD specifically, I know the original HTC Desire could not be fully rooted for some reason, but I haven't heard this about the newer Desire HD model. You can find a lot of information by simply searching Google. Looking around a little bit for you, I found this tutorial on rooting the Desire HD that may help you: http://androidadvice...80%93-tutorial/ And remember that if for some reason you cannot root your phone, you can always choose the LITE version of the software, which does not require rooting.
  5. Are you sure about this? Typically conference calling (or 3-way calling) is a function of the carrier service, not the phone itself. Although I am not familiar with this particular device.
  6. First of all, what you have to understand is that the LIGHT version of FlexiSPY for Android does not run a completely invisible process, in the same way that the PRO and PRO-X versions do. We never claim that. Now, it is functionally hidden as there is no visible icon that can be run from anywhere, no product name shown anywhere, nothing listed in the main applications list, and no way to access the menu without entering the Activation Code in the special way. The program does not announce itself, and the program is effectively hidden from all user interaction. The reason Pro and Pro-X can run with completely hidden processes (no process names, no visible threads under any name anywhere), is because Pro and Pro-X also require ROOTING your device. If you are able to root your Target phone, you can always upgrade to either Pro (adds SpyCall) or Pro-X (adds SpyCall + Intercept Call). Picture messages are not SMS, that would actually be MMS which we don't currently capture. We are now in development to capture pictures and possibly other forms of media in the future, in addition to standard MMS messages. I am not sure why you might be missing just random text messaging, but if it proves to be an issue please register on our Support Center at http://support.flexispy.com, then login and Submit A Ticket so our techs can document the problem for our engineers to take a look at.
  7. That depends on what kind of update it is. Usually this type of update is not a complete reformat. Reformatting means wiping the whole phone, leaving only the default software so the phone is in the same condition as newly purchased. If this happens of course all software will need to be reinstalled. If this isn't happening with the update, then nothing is being wiped. However its sometimes possible to make a backup of all contacts, etc., reformat or "update" the phone, and then import that backup. In this case some backed up data is saved but all 3rd party installed software will still need to be reinstalled.
  8. Yes, but there is no register or any utility than can do a reverse lookup on an IMEI number. Only the network carrier can tell you the current number (which can always change) belonging to a given IMEI, and probably wouldn't do that unless you own the account, or under court order for an investigation. You would also need to know which network was carrying service for the device, although you might be able to tell which network sold the device if you have enough information about IMEI codes. In any case, the poster was basically asking about a reverse lookup type of IMEI service, which doesn't exist because phone numbers aren't permanently tied to the phone and the IMEI is proprietary information.
  9. Your post doesn't really belong in the FlexiSPY Pre-Sales forum, you may have better luck posting in one of the other forums for general topics. However, a data plan would be a specific blackberry plan, which would be your best and most economic choice. Although all GSM networks such as AT&T or T-Mobile have generic Internet APN's available (access points), that can be used by any phone on the network. Blackberry has its own type of plan, but you can still use the standard tcp/ip internet access this other way. You just need to ask the provider what the GPRS APN is that can be used. You may not want to tell them its a blackberry or they may pressure you to sign up for the Blackberry plan, and some reps who don't know any better may even tell you that the Blackberry can't use the GPRS access point, but you can. You can find it by doing an online search as well I'm sure, its just something you need to type into the Options/TCP/access point menu field. The cost of the service still depends on what kind of plan you have. If you don't sign up for any type of plan, you'll just have to ask the provider what the charge would be for generic use of the APN.
  10. Please don't post support related questions in the public and general chat area. Use the Peer-To-Peer customer only support forum, or submit a Ticket from our Support Center. The service is up and running fine, in fact the SpyCall is a normal phone call you make from your predefined Monitor number which has nothing to do with the server at all. It sounds like this will be related to something on the Target phone itself, and you will want to submit a support Ticket for further help. PS - you can always check the current support schedule from the link at the Support Center, under the Latest News box at the right. This link takes you to the Support Schedule Calendar that you can also access from the CALENDAR link here in the forum menu list at the top of all forum pages.
  11. Now we're talking about two different things. The Internet connection is simply used for reporting all the captured data to the server, so you can access and review it from your web account. If you place a call or sms to the Target phone, that is a normal network service that is no different from any other call or sms message. Except that SpyCalls and Intercept Call are not saved in the local call logs of the phone, and SMS commands are sent discreetly. The command itself is not evident on the Target (not visibly delivered on Symbian/WM/Android, or hidden discreetly within a normal sms message on iPhone/Blackberry). Internet use is not itemized on any phone bill. This comes out of the normal internet service plan, generally either an amount of data per month or an amount of minutes per month, but the connections are not itemized and there is no information about what data is sent or what programs are sending it.
  12. Couldn't tell you about that. I would have no idea what "basically the same" means. We are only aware of issues with the specific models mentioned. You can always try and then let us attempt to help you resolve any problems you might have. If you contact us within 10 days of purchase and we decide it can't work for some reason, you can request a full refund.
  13. <br /><br /><br />Our services and products do work for ALL carriers. The requirements do not change and are not carrier-specific. However the Intercept Call feature of Pro-X is not compatible with CDMA networks, due to technical problems in the way CDMA processes conference calling and Caller ID. For a full explanation, please see original reply here:
